DIGITAL CAMERA BATTERY

The new Digital Camera Battery (DCB) easily solves the power needs of your digital camera and your flash at the same time! Due to its unique construction the DCB has two outputs that are independent, enabling one power pack to operate devices with different voltage requirements, such as a 12 volt digital camera with a 5 volt flash. Even in this mode the DCB can last more than twice as long as its closest competitor.

With a case built from stainless steel and a hardened lightweight aluminum alloy, the DCB is designed so that you only need to replace the battery itself. The NiMH battery pack will provide over 500 full cycle charges and over 1000 partial charges, can be charged at any time and does not have to be drained down.

An AC FastCharger is included with each DCB that can charge a 40-watt DCB in 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There's also an optional solar charger for AC-less charging. Models come in 40 and 80 watt capacities, with cables available for many different cameras and flash units.

Thanks to it’s dual regulated outputs, the Digital Camera Battery can power both your digital camera and flash unit at the same time, even if they use different voltages. The Digital Camera Battery charges the flash in a fraction of the time AA batteries take and does not slow down during use. This is important because many flash units are only calibrated from a full charge. The small 40 watt unit provides over 1,000 full power flashes from your shoe mounted flash.

The Digital Camera Battery can also power accessories such as laptop computers, storage devices, cell phones and much more (see compatibility list below). There are many cables and adapters readily available as well as custom cables. If you buy a new camera or accessory all you need is a new cable.
