How to Identify Your Picture Maker

This is the original version of the Kodak Picture Maker G3 Order Station and is known as the  "Monty" series. The camera card readers are blue and the receipt printer is at the upper right corner of the unit. The "Monty" is not as fast as newer Picture Makers and has difficulty handling large numbers of files, especially from the new generation of mega-pixel digital cameras. In most cases, an upgrade to a G3 Slim Line or the new G4 Order Station will be compatible with your existing Picture Maker printers and scanner.


This is the newer Kodak Picture Maker G3 Slim Line series. The camera card readers are yellow and the receipt printer is at the lower left corner of the unit. This is the second generation of the Picture Maker G3 and is the least expensive upgrade from the "Monty" series. This unit is faster than the "Monty" and is much better equipped to handle large numbers of files.


The Kodak Picture Kiosk G4 is the latest generation of Kodak Picture Makers. It is faster than the G3 models and can handle large numbers of files with ease. It has a DVD/CD writer to create the new Kodak Picture Movie DVDs and Archive DVDs from digital camera files. The G4 Order Stations are a cost-effective replacement for older Picture Maker G3 Order Stations and are compatible with most Picture Maker G3 printers and scanners.
