The SONY SnapLab is a new digital photo finishing system from Sony. The LCD is an 8-inch touchscreen with a 640 x 480 dot resolution. It takes rolls of photo paper instead of sheets, so it can print as many as 300 pictures in one go, at a rate of 13 seconds per photo. JPEG, TIFF, and BMP images up to 6400 x 4800 are supported, and the SnapLab features integrated Memory Stick, CompactFlash, SD, SmartMedia, xD, and USB slots. Ideal for on-site events or as a stand-alone photo kiosk.

Snapay is a wired remote control system for use with the SONY SnapLab and helps cashiers conveniently control the SnapLab printer from a remote location up to 5m (16 ft.) away while still maintaining customer privacy. Once  a customer has selected and paid for their pictures, the cashier uses the Snapay to release the SnapLab to print the customer's pictures. Snapay displays print quantity, print size and total order cost.
